Hi! I am a player of The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar and I read today that modem users, like me, are not able to use in-game voice chat system. Is that true, and how can I overcome this problem? Is there some other type of chatting in the game?

Hi! Member of Fellowships have right of entry an In-Game voice chat system. To use the voice chat, you must have the required equipment. Some computers have built-in voice chat capability, otherwise, you will need a headset with an integrated microphone and a broadband internet connection. As you mentioned, this service is not supported on Dial Up connections.
Activate voice chat in your Options panel. Select the Main Menu icon, then Options, then Audio. Look for the Voice Enabled checkbox, and check it to activate voice chat. If you are a dial up user, you can use text chat in the game!
