I do not believe how the Anarchy Online has changes. For me, it is not so good anymore. Why are the developers patching the game in that number? I liked the game before, but now it is completely different thing. It has changed too much. My opinion is that patching is bad, very bad.

The point of patching online games is to add more quests, more items and to fix small issues about the game. In every patch, you have a set numbers of those, so the players can continue to play the game. Just imagine if you did not patch the game, and once finish all the quests. What will you do next? Just sand in one place and do nothing? Therefore, just download the patch, install it, and continue to play the game. AO is well worth of effort and time. If you played the game, you know how good it is. Do not make fuss about small things.

They have added many new quests/dungeons/armor/weapons/utilities/buffing items and even new playfields, how is this a bad thing? The game was getting very stale for years since the release of AI which really did not add much content besides alien playfields.
Maybe you should level up and explore a bit more.

Aye there the rub Lost Eden was made to get the High levelers interested again. Unfortunately it took all my hi levelers away from the org. duties, they no longer had time to level up org mates.
Now don't get me wrong a 186 MA is no wimp, but the xp needed to level just not found around Jobe. So you must go deeper to get the xp unfortunately critters now come in mobs of at least 4 to 8.
One I can handle np. Two iffy depends on if I get crits at the right times.
Three or more must run away faster faster your dead!
So sniping becomes lonely and dangerous job even without being trained by someone else just running to stay alive lol
Not to mention SLOW.
Teaming? Well I need a tank of some sorts. my Ma can take 2-3 hits from a 200 rock then its dead pool, recovery, time to run back to a team that may still be alive.
See all the Tanks are 200+ characters and they are not around to help anymore.
So is patching bad? No but they fail to patch for everyone!
Give hi level players a way to more xp but fail to help lower levels.
By the time all the Exploring was done the Higher level leaders came back to an empty org with no income.
