Maybe it's just me, but EQ worlds just always seem to have alot of wasted space in them.....I mean give me somethin interresting and meaningful, not a big area with alot of shrubery and npc's as content.

well some of the old world, RoK, and SoV, and some SoL zones were pretty cool, for what they had to work with (s****y graphics engine). It's when SoE started running the show, is when there was alot of nil space...just a desert of nothingness, then 10 minutes of walking later you might see something cool.

not a bad lookin game, i can see that is gunna make people buy new or upgrade from what they got to play, emagin runnin that with like 72 people around u raidin.. tough shit

I kind of liked that about EQ. It gave a real world feeling to it. Like you could get lost out in the middle of no where, and just go exploring and see sights at the weirdest locations i.e. Timorous Deep, Ocean of Tears, Frontier Mountains. You would just stumble apon caves, or ruins, or ship wrecks. It gave it a real feeling to the game.

One thing you have to remember is that EQ2 isn't going to have the 100 person raids like EQ currently does. I belive most the content was geared towards raids of 36ppl.

You mean the custom helms that looked like a big dildo in the front now those was the win Although as an erudite I had a monkey tail and only Dreamerr could swing from it and stroke it

Eh, EQ2 looks no different they any other current game that uses Dx9 SM 2.0. Just because something "looks good" doesn't mean your going to need a Alienware computer to run it. You will definitly need a video card that doesn't suck tho. If you can run FarCry decently on your computer you will probably be able to play EQ2 decently aswell.

that's what I was thinking. I mean you look at FFXI or SWG, both have phenominal screenshots, but you run it up on your comp it doesn't look as good, but it runs pretty well.
