OK I searched for answer on this, but I couldnt find a resolution so here goes: I 2 box on same machine and am wondering how to resolve the f****d up graphics issue when doing so. Its not TERRIBLE, just annoying. My setup is P4 2.8, NVIDIA 5200 128 meg vid card, each EQ account on seperate hard drives, my main on my SCSI and my alt on my IDE, 1 gig dual channel memory.
Ideas?

If its in OOW zones its a definitely an issue with not having enough ram/video ram/ and video processing power. Those zones use up a lot more resources than previous ones.

no not in OoW its in all zones. The issue is I get a flickering on the screen. I dont get lag or anything, just a flickering. I remember reading awhile ago about this I just cant remember what the issue is. As far as memory goes, thats not even an issue, nor is processor. See above specs. I can actually get 4 account on with zero lag...just the flickering. And when 2 boxing, I'm only using about 30% of my processor.

EQ sucks at allocating resources properly, it tends to go heavy on the vid card/RAM but not do (relatively) much with the CPU.

Mynd, I do the same thing with the same card and it happens to me too. Suggestion is that when you 2 box, don't zone with both accounts...
Get one guy there, then load the other guy up and get him there. I haven't had as much problem since I started doing that.

256mb vid card really really helps in oow zones... beyond that i cant hepl :/
