For those of you who use EQW to 2 bot on the same comp, when you zone into Plane of Tranquility, or throughout pop infact, with one of your chars, does the floor below you become invisible? I can see directly to the bottom of the world, and then when I try to zone with that character, I crash.

Happening to anyone else?

Here is the fix for it, at least it worked for me. Took this from the EQWindows forum when it was up. They need to bring that site back...

Found fix for it. I am using WinXP, Radeon 9000 Video card, AND The latest drivers have not had a crash since.

If you encounter disappearing walls, ground, trees, rocks or other objects... Or if you crash on zones.

Please make some changes to your eqclient.ini file to correct this problem.

First look for the eqclient.ini file in your EverQuest directory. You can find your eqclient.ini in these 2 likely locations:
Click on MY COMPUTER\C:DRIVE\PROGRAM FILES\SONY\EVERQUEST\EQCLIENT.INI Click on MY COMPUTER\C:DRIVE\PROGRAM FILES\EVERQUEST\EQCLIENT.INI
Once your eqclient.ini file has been opened, add a new line to the "[Defaults]" section that says:

HardwareTnL=FALSE

If adding that line does not correct this issue:

Please add another new line to the "[Defaults]" section that says:

VertexShaders=FALSE

After putting line 1 in try loading up EQClassic on both characters rather than EQW and zone a
bunch of times, If it works there THEN go ahead and load up EQW and test it a few more times.
If it doesn't Add line 2 and repeat.

hehe , Xenergy , you talking about Having 1 EQ open, then minimizing and just opening another ?

Yes, and I used the application compatibility tool-kit so i can alt-tab between my windows. 0 problem, no stupid keyboard freezes (like EQw) no graphics lag, nothing! It's great!

My only limitation is my dial-up access which at time can act up.
