|
|
|
Looking for:
2 (or 2+) Player Simultaneous Co-op Fantasy Game Cube (system preffered) Games.
I played Baldur's Gate D.A. and had a blast. Any other good games out there that are similiar ? I want to be able to play simultaneously, be co-operative (not fighting and would pref no racing). Fantasy type stuff preffered.
Gonna go look up other Baldur's Gate games now (if they exist).

Most adventure games on GCN that are 2 player are like that.

Time Splitters 2 has a decent Co-op mission mode.
Only played for the 'box so I'm not sure if the GCN does the same thing.

Yes, FF:CC was just recently set back to a March release date, but it looks worthy nonetheless.
If you want the best of the best co-op play, somehow manage to borrow someones ps2 and rent Gauntlet: Dark Legacy.
You'll love me, it's such a great game.

I use to always play Gauntlet in the arcade ! we had it for dreamcast (i think it was DC). i loved it i played the ps2 (i think it was ps2, my friend had all the new systems) version also.
hehe i still get all the systems jumbled. i call the game cube the xbox and visa versa.
i saw an ign site after posting to this thread that had a list of good 2 player co-ops (trying to find it now without luck). Tenchu 2 for ps 2 was on it. i didnt realize it was co-op. anyone have it?
i was told that return of the king also will fit the description... i hope i am not let down because i am looking forward to that one.

#5. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
#4. Ikaruga
#3. TimeSplitters 2
#2. Conflict: Desert Storm
#1. Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II
Honorable Mentions:
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
The odd GBA/GCN link-up co-op mode is gimmicky, but a fun alternative to having a friend watch you play.
Beach Spikers
While every sports game offers friends the ability to play on the same team, two-on-two volleyball is a much more personal experience when played with a friend.
Mario Party
You can't mention co-op gameplay without giving a nod to Mario Party 4's Dungeon Duos minigame. More games like that one in MP5, please!
More Co-Op in 2003
#5. Gladius
#4. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
#3. Pikmin 2
#2. Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
#1. Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike
oh man.. looking forward to RotK. That was the first I heard of the new Gladius. I had the old NES version.. this one looks sweet!
